On October 14th it was announced that Jacques Noordermeer, Scientific Chairman of the DPI Technology Area Performance Polymers, will receive the George S. Whitby Award 2010. This award is granted by the American Chemical Society Rubber Division to Prof. Dr. Ir. Noordermeer for Distinguished Teaching and Research.
"This award honors outstanding international teachers of chemistry and polymer science and recognizes innovative research as well as outstanding contributions to the integration of chemistry and polymer science into the educational system".
Jacques Noordermeer receives the award at the spring meeting of the ACS Rubber Division on April 27th 2010 in Akron, OH, USA. Dutch Polymer Institute congratulates Prof. Dr. Ir. Jacques Noordermeer with this prestigious award.
