DPI scores a high Citation-Impact factor

6 January 2012

The Dutch Polymer Institute scored a Citation-Impact factor of 2.04 for its scientific publications. The latest report of the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science proves this result in Science and Technology Indicators 2011. The score of DPI is, again, more than twice as high as the global average.

The Dutch Observatory of Science and Technology (NOWT) examines the quality of Dutch research every two years. This is an analysis of data from 'Web of Science' and other sources in publication output and citation impact of Dutch research institutes, universities, independent research institutes and some major hospitals. In 2009 DPI scored a Citation Impact factor of 2.19.
