DPI Annual Meeting 2019 - The Role of Plastics in the Circular Economy, Today and Tomorrow

12 November 2019

DPI’s Annual Meeting 2019 will be held in Eindhoven (Netherlands) on Tuesday 12 November.

This year’s Annual Meeting will mark a changeover in DPI’s top management. A key programme item is therefore the farewell to the outgoing Managing Director and the welcome to the incoming Managing Director. We hope that you will be present on this special occasion to bid farewell to Jacques Joosten, who will leave DPI after 14 years of service.

The Annual Meeting will be centred around the theme “The Role of Plastics in the Circular Economy, Today and Tomorrow”. A special programme item will be a panel discussion – moderated by Joris Luyendijk, well-known journalist, author and anthropologist – on a very topical subject: the management of plastic waste, in particular flexible plastic packaging waste. Panel members will be chosen to represent different segments of the plastics value chain.

The Annual Meeting will also give us the opportunity to highlight the past and present of DPI (new developments, innovations and research in the polymer/plastics industry, the role DPI has played in this field and the history and growth of the DPI collaboration platform) and to look ahead to the future.
